Welcome

This blog is about my thoughts and personal observations concerning the power of prayer and faith and other topics I find interesting, even fascinating.  I am not trying to present an eloquent or elaborate exegesis of any topic because I am not, by any means, a writer like one of my sisters, or a theologian like my husband. 

I am just a pastor’s wife writing about my journey through life and ministry. Hence, Don’t be surprised to be welcomed by a grammatical error or a misspelling.  keep in mind that I am not trying to impress you with my writings. I am just trying to give my brain and soul a pen or in this case a keyboard and I am sharing them with you.

So, at this point you might be wondering why I am calling my blog "Sun and Mountain?" Well, it was birthed out of my time teaching the ladies of our church about prayer and faith.  Now I am on a quest for a deeper prayer life and stronger faith that can accomplish what I can't on my own and only He can.  Why Sun and Mountain? You'll find the the answer in my first blog.
